 Kokona Council Chair Vows To Fish Out Perpetrators Of Tattara Mada Attack

The Executive Chairman of Kokona Local Government Council, Awalu Adamu has vowed to fish out the perpetrators of the recent heinous attack on Tattara Mada community of the area. 


Gunmen suspected to be fulani herders had on Sunday April 16 invaded the community, killing residents and destroying properties worth millions of naira. 


The council Chairman who visited the community on Wednesday alongside the Member representing Kokona East Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA), Daniel Ogah Ogazi and a team of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) described the incident as unfortunate. 


Adamu vowed that those responsible for the heinous would be arrested in order to face the full wrath of the law, his media aide, Ephraim Jatau, said in a statement after Wednesday's on-the-spot assessment visit to the community. 


He assured of his administration’s commitment to hunt down the profiteers of crime whilst ensuring the security of lives and properties.


The council Chairman commiserated with the families of the deceased and advised people of the area not to take laws into their hands as concerted efforts are ongoing to rehabilitate victims of the attacks.
