SICA Head Girl, Keren Wakayi Scores 309 points In UTME





Head Girl of Shepherd's International College Akwanga (SICA) in Nasarawa State, Keren Wakayi has emerged as a “Super Star Student” in the just-concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB). 

Keren scored a total of 309 points from the four (4) subjects she registered in the Examination. 

A teacher simply identified as Maroc who made this known in a Facebook post on Monday, said she applied to study MBBS in the University of Jos, Plateau State. 

The teacher therefore appealed to the state government to offer scholarship to indigenous students who scored 300 points and above in UTME to study special courses in the country's tertiary institutions. 

This, Maroc said “will enhance competition amongst secondary school students and thereby enhancing the quality of our education in the State”. 

He added that SICA had over the years distinct itself in producing 300 scores and above in UTME. 

The breakdown of her score is as follows: English Language 66, Physics 90, Biology 72 and 81 in Chemistry. 

Two students namely Uthman Abubakar and Otene Amoche Victor of You-Nik International Technopreneurship Secondary School, Lafia and Seat of Wisdom Academy, Akwanga respectively had also emerged as Super Star Students in UTME in the State with 300 points each.
